Reimbursement for inpatient hospital services, as defined by 42 CFR 440.10, is available to providers enrolled by the office as Medicaid providers and who are in good standing. Continued participation in the Medicaid program and payment of inpatient hospital services are contingent upon maintenance of state licensure and conformance with the office's provider agreement. 405 IAC 5-17 and 405 IAC 5-28 establish criteria for providing inpatient hospital services to Medicaid members and set forth the types of services for which Medicaid reimbursement may be available.
