Section 1-7 - Pesticides in fertilizers; registration and guarantee

Sec. 7.

Pesticides in Fertilizers. When an insecticide, herbicide, or any other additive for pest control is added to fertilizer the product must be registered and guaranteed with respect to the kind and percentage of each of these additives as well as with respect to plant food elements. In a prominent manner the label on the package shall state the crops for which the fertilizer is to be used and shall state that the use of the fertilizer on any other crops or under conditions other than those recommended may result in serious injury to crops.
