Sec. 155.

"Remaining facility life" means the estimated amount of time beyond the current date during which a solid waste land disposal facility is expected to continue to accept solid waste for final disposal. Remaining facility life is associated with increases or decreases in remaining disposal capacity, but the rate of capacity depletion may be affected by other factors such as changes in:

(1) solid waste management techniques;

(2) regional facility capacity; or

(3) solid waste sources and destination.

The term does not include the post-closure period.
