Sec. 121.1.

"Nonmunicipal solid waste landfill unit" or "non-MSWLF unit" means a discrete area of land or an excavation that is permitted to receive general types of solid waste, excluding municipal solid waste as defined in section 115 of this rule and hazardous waste regulated by 329 IAC 3.1, for disposal and that is not a land application unit, surface impoundment, injection well, or waste pile. Such a landfill unit may be publicly or privately owned. A nonmunicipal solid waste landfill unit may be a new nonmunicipal solid waste landfill unit, an existing nonmunicipal solid waste landfill unit, or a lateral expansion.
