Sec. 8.5.
"Site characterization" means the work performed under the initial site characterization (ISC) described at 329 IAC 9-5-5.1 or further site investigations described in 329 IAC 9-5-6 and may include, as necessary, quarterly monitoring and pilot studies to determine the feasibility of remediation alternatives.
