Sec. 13.

(a) Following initial bin classification under section 11(c) of this rule, a filtered PWS shall provide the level of treatment required under section 12 of this rule according to Table 13 in subsection (b).

(b) Cryptosporidium treatment compliance dates are as follows:

Systems that serve: Shall comply with Cryptosporidium treatment requirements not later than1:
At least 100,000 people April 1, 2012
From 50,000 to 99,999 people October 1, 2012
From 10,000 to 49,999 people October 1, 2013
Fewer than 10,000 people October 1, 2014
1 The commissioner may allow up to an additional two (2) years for complying with the treatment requirements for systems making capital improvements.

(c) If the bin classification for a filtered PWS changes following the second round of source water monitoring, as determined under section 11(d) of this rule, the PWS shall:

(1) provide the level of treatment for Cryptosporidium required under section 12 of this rule; and

(2) meet the level of treatment required under subdivision (1) on a schedule approved by the commissioner.
