Violations of drinking water regulations include violations of MCL, MRDL, TT, monitoring, and testing procedure requirements.
(b) Drinking water violations and other situations that require public notice according to this rule are contained in the following provisions:
for specific violations and situations listed in Table 16 in subsection (a).
is required to initiate consultation with the commissioner within twenty-four (24) hours after learning of the violation. Based on this consultation, the commissioner may subsequently decide to elevate the violation to Tier 1. If a PWS is unable to make contact with the commissioner in the twenty-four (24) hour period, the violation is automatically elevated to Tier 1.
