Sec. 34.
"Sensitive area" means a site where land application of domestic septage, grease, or a combination of domestic septage and grease poses a specific water quality threat to one (1) or more of the following:
(1) Aquifers used as a source of drinking water.
(2) Public water supply wells.
(3) Wellhead protection areas.
(4) Drinking water supply reservoirs.
(5) Areas requiring special protection from a threat to water quality or because of the area's aesthetic value to the citizens of Indiana, such as:
(A) wetlands;
(B) karst terrains;
(C) the critical habitat of an endangered or
threatened species; or
(D) natural
areas, including:
(i) parks;
(ii) nature preserves as regulated under IC
14-31;
(iii) historic sites as
defined in section 17 of this rule; and
(iv) public lands as defined in IC
14-38-1-5.
