Section 6-3 - Agricultural lime substitute application

Universal Citation: 327 IN Admin Code 6-3
Current through September 18, 2024

Authority: IC 13-14-8-7; IC 13-15-1-2; IC 13-15-2-1; IC 13-18-3-1; IC 13-18-12-4

Affected: IC 13-11-2-77; IC 13-30-2-1

Sec. 3.

Agricultural lime substitute must be evenly applied at rates based on the adjusted lime rate as determined by Equation 4 as follows:

Equation 4:

Adjusted Lime Rate = RALR × FF × NF × DF

Where: RALR = Recommended agricultural lime rate derived from the soil analysis report for the application site.

FF = Fineness factor.

NF = Neutralizing factor.

DF = Depth factor.
