Sec. 1.
(a) For an agricultural lime substitute to be eligible for the notification program under this rule, the following criteria must be met:
(1) Be an agricultural lime substitute that
has greater than fifty percent (50%) calcium carbonate equivalency (CCE) or
that has a calculated adjusted lime rate of two (2) tons per acre or less using
a recommended agricultural lime rate of one (1) ton per acre and a depth factor
of seventy-five hundredths (0.75).
(2) Contain no biosolid.
(3) Pollutant concentrations are less than
the concentrations in Table 3 in
327 IAC
6.1-4-9(c).
(4) Must not contain a concentration of
polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) of two (2) milligrams per kilogram or greater
on a dry weight basis.
(b) For purposes of this article, agricultural lime substitute does not include the following:
(1) Unprocessed fly ash.
(2) Cement kiln dust.
(3) Alum sludges from water treatment
facilities.
