Sec. 6.
(a) "Best management practices" or "BMPs" means the following measures to prevent or reduce the pollution of waters of the state:
(1) Schedules of activities.
(2) Prohibitions of practice.
(3) Treatment requirements.
(4) Operation and maintenance
procedures.
(5) Use of containment
facilities.
(6) Other management
practices.
(b) BMPs may be employed, for example, to control:
(1)
plant site run-off;
(2) spillage or
leaks;
(3) sludge or waste
disposal; or
(4) drainage from raw
materials storage resulting from:
(A)
manufacturing;
(B)
commercial;
(C) mining;
or
(D) silvicultural;
activities.
