Rule 8 - Approval Process
Section 8-1 - Duration of approvals

Sec. 1.

An approval shall be effective for a fixed term. That term begins when the approval is issued and is not to exceed five (5) years. An approval may be amended, revoked and reissued, or revoked prior to the expiration of the term for cause, as specified in sections 3 and 5 of this rule, or in accordance with conditions set forth in the approval. In no event may the term of an approval be extended beyond five (5) years from its original effective date by amendment, extension, or other means, except as provided in section 2(a) of this rule.
