Sec. 9.
(a) An individual may hunt northern bobwhite quail (Colinus virginianus) only as follows:
(1) South of Interstate 74, from
November 1 through January 10 of the following year.
(2) North of Interstate 74, from November 1
through December 15 of that calendar year.
(b) Except as provided in subsection (c), the daily bag limit for bobwhite quail per day is as follows:
(1) Four (4) northern bobwhite quail north of
Interstate 74.
(2) Eight (8)
northern bobwhite quail south of Interstate 74.
(c) On a department fish and wildlife area, Salamonie Lake, Mississinewa Lake, and Patoka Lake, the daily bag limit is:
(1) two (2) northern bobwhite quail north of
Interstate 74; and
(2) four (4)
northern bobwhite quail south of Interstate 74.
