Sec. 24.

(a) An employee who accepts other employment while receiving short-term or long-term disability payments shall give notice, within seven (7) calendar days, to the state personnel department or the third party administrator, if a third party administrator is contracted by the state.

(b) Persons receiving short-term or long-term disability payments may be prohibited from accepting other employment outside state government that would retard their rehabilitation.
