Sec. 15.
(a) Written policy, procedure, and practice provide that security rooms used for isolation or room confinement are equipped with:
(1) a
toilet;
(2) a sink; and
(3) security furniture; that can be accessed
by the juvenile for use without staff assistance.
(b) Security rooms used for one (1) hour or less for:
(1) intake;
(2) use as a courtroom holding
cell;
(3) timeout;
(4) use as a dry cell;
(5) restraint-chair observation; or
(6) use as a padded safety room; are not
required to be equipped with a toilet, sink, and security
furniture.
