Section 641.50 - Compliance Standards

a) All medical services must be in compliance with the standards set by the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), 1985, 409 12th Street S.W., Washington DC 20024-2188, American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), 1988, 141 Northwest Point Boulevard, Elk Grove Village IL 60007-1098, and American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), 1997, 11400 Tomahawk Creek Parkway, Leawood KS 66211-2680.

b) Guidelines established by the 1997 National Committee for Quality Assurance Accreditation (NCQA), 1100 13th St. NW, Third Floor Washington DC 20005, effective April 1, 1997.

c) Laboratory services must be in compliance with the Clinical Laboratories Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA). Medical record maintenance will be in compliance with the "Problem-Oriented Medical Record System and Medical Record Management Guidance" (1980), issued by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

d) The standards and guidelines cited in subsections (a), (b) and (c) include no late amendments or editions.
