Section 598.100 - Limitations on Use of Scholarship Funds

a) Scholarships in the amount of $7,500 shall be issued per academic year to each recipient and shall be used for tuition, fees and living expenses for students of allied health care professional programs.

b) Scholarships may be made to part-time (but not less than 1/3 time) students and full-time students.

c) Scholarship funds shall be expended by the recipient only while enrolled and in good academic standing at an approved school.

d) Scholarship funds shall not be awarded for expenses incurred when the student must repeat an academic term or terms, if the repetition is necessary because the student has an academic performance below an acceptable level as determined by the student's approved school.

e) Scholarship awards shall be made directly to the recipient.

f) Scholarship awards shall be made for a maximum of two years.

g) Scholarship awards shall not be made if recipient is in arrears on tuition payments to recipient's approved school.
