Section 932.40 - Discounts to Qualified Motor Vehicles

All insurance companies issuing policies of automobile insurance, as defined in Section 143.13(a) of the Illinois Insurance Code [215 ILCS 5/143.13(a) ], that insure automobiles that are equipped with anti-theft mechanisms shall allow a discount on comprehensive coverage to qualifying automobiles in an amount deemed appropriate by the insurer. The discount shall not be less than 5% on comprehensive coverage.
