Section 230.130 - Use of Assistants

No person may act as an assistant at any pyrotechnic display or flame effect display who has not reached the age of 18 and met the requirements of Section 35 of the Act. The pyrotechnic assistant must be registered with OSFM by the licensed distributor or the licensed production company on a form provided by OSFM prior to the time when the assistant begins work as an employee on the pyrotechnic display or pyrotechnic service.
