Section 901.104 - Highly Impulsive Sound

Except as provided elsewhere in this Part, a person must not cause or allow the emission of highly impulsive sound from any property-line noise source located on any Class A, B or C land to any receiving Class A or B land that exceeds the allowable A-weighted sound levels, measured with fast dynamic characteristic, specified in the following table, when measured in compliance with the procedure of 35 Ill. Adm. Code 900.103 at any point within the receiving Class A or B land. Sound pressure levels must be measured at least 25 feet from the property-line noise source.
