Section 604.415 - Pressure Aeration

a) Pressure aeration may be used for oxidation purposes only. This process is not acceptable for the removal of dissolved gases.
b) Filters following pressure aeration must allow for the release of air.
c) Pressure aeration must be designed to
1)
thoroughly mix compressed air with water being treated; and
2) provide air free of obnoxious fumes, dust,
dirt and other contaminants.
