a) Applicability
1) The Board incorporates by
reference 40 CFR
437.1 (2003). This incorporation includes no
later amendments or editions.

This Subpart BL applies to the portion of wastewater discharges from a
centralized waste treatment facility resulting from any of the following
activities, as defined in the materials incorporated by reference in subsection
(a)(1):
A) Treatment and recovery of
hazardous or non-hazardous industrial metal-bearing wastes, oily wastes, and
organic-bearing wastes received from off-site; and
B) The treatment of centralized waste
treatment wastewater.
b) General Definitions. The Board incorporates by reference 40 CFR 437.2 (2003). This incorporation includes no later amendments or editions.
c) General Pretreatment Standards. Any source subject to this Subpart BL that introduces process wastewater pollutants into a publicly owned treatment works (POTW) must comply with Subpart B of 35 Ill. Adm. Code 307 and 35 Ill. Adm. Code 310.
