Section 232.440 - Use of Available Data

a) In order to provide the information requested by the Agency pursuant to Section 232.450 of this Part, the owner or operator of a source may:
1) Use reasonable engineering estimates of
total emissions of individual ITACs pursuant to an emissions determination
method, if, in each case, the owner or operator of a source specifies the
emissions determination method used to estimate total emissions and certifies
that such data represents the best available information and is true and
accurate to the best of his/her knowledge; or
2) If available, use monitoring or measuring
data collected pursuant to other provisions of law or regulation.
b) Nothing in this Subpart requires the monitoring or measurement of the quantities, concentrations, or frequency of emissions of any ITAC beyond any monitoring or measurement required under other provisions of law or regulation.
