Section 215.926 - Control Requirements

a) Every owner or operator of an emission source of volatile organic material shall operate in compliance with RACT, which for emission sources subject to this Subpart shall be:
1) Emission capture and
control techniques which achieve an overall reduction in uncontrolled volatile
organic material emissions of at least 81%; or
2) For coating lines, volatile organic
material emissions not to exceed 0.42 kg/l (3.5 lb/gal) of coating materials as
applied, excluding water and any compounds which are specifically exempted from
the definition of volatile organic material, on a daily basis. Owners and
operators complying with this subsection are not required to comply with
Section
215.301;
or
3) An adjusted RACT emissions
limitation obtained pursuant to Subpart I.
b) Owners and operators of emission sources subject to this Subpart shall comply with its requirements by April 1, 1989.
