Section 166.201 - Purpose

This Subpart is intended:

a) to set forth the practice and procedures to be followed by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency in conducting contested case permit hearings, and;

b) to comply with the purpose and intent of the Illinois Administrative Procedure Act (Ill. Rev. Stat. 1991, ch. 127, par. 1001 et seq.) [5 ILCS 100/1-1 et seq.] in conducting contested case permit hearings.
