a) The purposes of the Illinois Student Assistance Commission (ISAC) include:
1) Improving postsecondary educational
opportunities for eligible students through the centralized administration of
Illinois student assistance programs; and
2) Coordinating Illinois student assistance
programs with those of the United States Department of Education (ED), when
applicable.
b) This Part establishes general rules and definitions that apply to all student assistance programs administered by ISAC, except to the extent that subsequent Parts may qualify these general provisions.
