Section 256.112 - Eligible Applicants

a) Eligible applicants are the following entities who have administrative control and direction of a CTEPOS for general State and federal CTE funding:
1) an ISBE-recognized area career center (see
Subpart B);
2) a Regional Office of
Education or Intermediate Service Center;
3) an Indian tribe, tribal organization, or
tribal educational agency; or
4) a
consortium eligible to receive assistance as a designated "eligible recipient"
under Perkins V.
b) To qualify as an eligible applicant, a local educational agency must be part of a consortium with other LEAs to access State and federal funds.
