Section 25.525 - Short-Term Substitute Teaching License

a) Until June 30, 2028, applicants may apply to the State Board of Education for issuance of a Short-Term Substitute Teaching License (see Section 21B-20(4) of the Code.)

b) A short-term substitute teaching license is valid for five years.

c) Prior to utilizing the short-term substitute teaching license, individuals shall complete the training required by Section 10-20.67 of the Code.
