01. Disclosures. (3-21-22)
a. In compliance with 49 CFR Part 580 , when
ownership of a motor vehicle is transferred: (3-21-22)
i. The transferor will disclose mileage to
the transferee. (3-21-22)
ii. When
a motor vehicle is leased, the lessee will disclose mileage to the lessor. If
the lessor transfers the leased vehicle without obtaining possession of it, the
lessor may indicate on the title the mileage disclosed by the lessee."

02. Record Retention. (3-21-22)
a.
Documents and records will be retained by dealers, distributors, lessors,
auctions, and the department in compliance with 49 CFR Part 580 .
