Rule 24.28.01 - RULES OF THE BARBER AND COSMETOLOGY SERVICES LICENSING BOARD
Section 24.28.01.327 - RETAIL COSMETICS DEALER LICENSE

The Board may grant a retail cosmetic dealer license to allow the application of cosmetic products to customers' faces in connection with the sale of the products. (3-28-23)

01. Requirements. All retail cosmetic dealers shall provide an area within the business premises for disinfection and storage of equipment and supplies necessary to perform any cosmetic application services provided. The business premises must have: (3-28-23)

a. Access to hot and cold running water; (3-28-23)

b. Access to restroom facilities; (3-28-23)

c. Disinfectants, as defined in these rules; (3-28-23)

d. Single-use samples, wipes, spatulas or other dispensing techniques designed to prevent contamination of the cosmetic product; and (3-28-23)

e. First-aid kit. (3-28-23)
