Rule 24.28.01 - RULES OF THE BARBER AND COSMETOLOGY SERVICES LICENSING BOARD
Section 24.28.01.313 - REQUIREMENTS FOR LICENSURE BY ENDORSEMENT

01. Licensure. The Board may grant a license to an applicant for licensure by endorsement who: (3-28-23)

a. Meets the education requirements set forth in Subsection 300.01 of these rules. (3-28-23)

b. Holds an unrestricted license free from discipline. (3-28-23)

02. Hold a Current License and Have Experience. The applicant must be the holder of a current active license or certificate of qualification in the profession and at the level for which a license is being sought, issued by the authorized regulatory entity in another state, territory, possession, or foreign country. The certification of licensure must be received by the Board from the issuing agency; and (3-28-23)

a. Must show that the state, territory, possession, or foreign country has licensing requirements substantially equivalent to or higher than those required for new applicants in Idaho; or (3-28-23)

b. Document at least one (1) year of actual practice under certification or licensure in the three (3) years immediately prior to application in the profession for which a license is being sought. (3-28-23)
