CHILDREN'S MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Section 16.07.37.106 - MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT

Universal Citation: ID Admin Code 16.07.37.106
Current through September 2, 2024

Once an application has been signed or a court order has been received for children's mental health services, the Department will schedule and conduct a mental health assessment. Each mental health assessment will be documented using the Department's Idaho Standard Mental Health Assessment Report at http://www.healthandwelfare.idaho.gov. A Department clinician will either complete a mental health assessment, or, at the Department's discretion, accept an assessment completed by another mental health professional. In order to be considered, assessments completed by other mental health professionals must have occurred within ninety (90) days prior to the date of application or court order. The Department clinician will gather additional information, as needed, in order to complete the assessment process.

Effective March 17, 2022
