Waivers to these rules may be granted by the Department as needed provided that granting the waiver does not endanger the health or safety or rights of any participant. The decision to grant a waiver is not precedent or given any force or effect of law in any other proceeding. Any waiver granted by the Department may be renewed annually if sufficient written justification is presented to the Department. Waivers granted by the Department must be given in writing and signed by the Department's Licensing and Certification program manager. (3-17-22)
