Section 16.03.11.703 - ENVIRONMENTAL STANDARDS - CHEMICALS AND PESTICIDES

01. Rodent and Pest Control. Each ICF/IID must be maintained free from insects, rodents, vermin, and other pests. (3-17-22)

a. Chemicals and pesticides must be selected on the basis of the pest involved and used only in the manner prescribed by the manufacturer that is registered with the Idaho Department of Agriculture; and (3-17-22)

b. Chemicals and pesticides used in the facility's pest control program must be used and stored to meet local, state, and federal requirements. (3-17-22)

02. Chemical Storage. All toxic chemicals must be properly labeled and stored according to the manufacturer's instructions. Toxic chemicals must not be stored in individual areas, with drugs, or in any area where food is stored, prepared, or served. (3-17-22)
