Transitional Assistance may be provided up to twelve (12) months after TAFI ends due to employment. Transitional Assistance does not count toward the TAFI twenty-four (24) month time limit. If the Department pays Transitional Assistance in error, the month does not count towards the twenty-four (24) month TAFI time limit. (3-17-22)
