Section 16.03.04.509 - TYPES OF INCOME TO BE AVERAGED

Types of income to be averaged are listed below. Income for a destitute migrant or seasonal farm worker household is not averaged. (3-17-22)

01. Self-Employment Income. Average self-employment income. (3-17-22)

02. Contract Income. Average contract income over the period of the contract, if not received on an hourly or piecework basis. Households with averaged contract income include school employees, share croppers and farmers. These households do not include migrants or seasonal farm workers. (3-17-22)

03. Income Received Less Often Than Monthly. When receipt of income is less often than monthly, the anticipated income can be averaged over the period intended to cover to determine the average monthly income. (3-17-22)

04. Child Support. Child support income can be averaged to make a valid projection for ongoing income. (3-17-22)
