Disqualify a household from Food Stamps for up to one (1) year from the discovery date of the transfer. Base the disqualification period on the amount the transferred resource exceeds the resource limit, when added to other countable resources. Disqualification periods are listed in Table 388. The disqualification period begins in the month of application unless the household is already certified when the transfer is discovered. If the household is already certified, the disqualification period starts with the first allotment after timely notice to end benefits. (3-17-22)
