Section 16.03.04.178 - CATEGORICALLY ELIGIBLE HOUSEHOLDS

Households with all members meeting one (1) of the criteria below are categorically eligible for Food Stamps. The Department will not compute resource eligibility. The Department will not compute gross or net income eligibility. Categorically eligible households must meet all other Food Stamp eligibility criteria. Categorically eligible households have the same rights as other households. (3-17-22)

01. Cash Benefits. All household members are approved for, or already receive, TAFI or AABD or SSI cash benefits. The household is categorically eligible. (3-17-22)

02. Benefits Recouped. All household members have AABD or SSI benefits being recouped. The household is categorically eligible. (3-17-22)

03. Grant Less Than Ten Dollars. All household members not receiving TAFI or AABD or SSI because their grant is less than ten dollars ($10). The household is categorically eligible. (3-17-22)
