The Idaho Legislature has granted to the Board of Health and Welfare, in cooperation with the State Board of Education and the Idaho School Boards Association, the authority to adopt rules for the administration and enforcement of an immunization program for Idaho school children, under Section 39-4801, Idaho Code.
