When a probationary employee has satisfactorily served the probationary period hours, the employee will become permanent status. The appointing authority shall no later than thirty (30) calendar days after the expiration of the probationary period provide the employee and the Division a performance evaluation. Certification to permanent status is effective one thousand forty (1,040) hours of credited state service after appointment, except that it is effective two thousand eighty (2,080) hours of credited state service after appointment for peace officer classifications unless either period has been extended pursuant to Rule 150.03.
