Section 6-80-104 - Establishment of credit

(a) For purposes of receiving service from a telecommunications carrier, a customer may establish credit in one or more of the following ways:
(b) If service to a customer is discontinued for nonpayment of bills, before service to the customer may thereafter be furnished, the carrier may require the customer to pay all amounts past due, in addition to any connection charges, and to either re-establish credit as provided in subsection (a) or advance a deposit.
(c) If bills are not paid within five days of the customer's receipt of a notice of discontinuance of service for nonpayment of bills, the carrier may require the customer to make a cash deposit as provided in § 6-80-105.
