Section 6-79-29 - Customer information provided by the operator service provider

(a) An operator service provider shall:
(1) At the beginning of each telephone call
and before the customer incurs any charge for the call, identify itself audibly
and distinctly to the customer;
(2)
Permit the customer to terminate the telephone call at no charge before the
call is connected; and
(3) Upon
request and at no charge to the customer, immediately disclose to the customer:
(A) The rates, charges, terms, and conditions
of the call;
(B) The method by
which the rates or charges will be collected;
(C) The means by which the customer may
access the various operator service providers and the local exchange carrier;
and
(D) The provider's complaint
handling procedures.
(b) If the aggregator has not for any reason posted the operator provider's pertinent rates, terms, and conditions or the means of accessing the various operator service providers and the local exchange carrier, as required by § 6-79-21, the operator service provider shall offer to provide such information to the customer before call connection.
