Section 6-62-35 - Classification of property carriers

Motor carriers of property shall be granted operating authority based upon the types of commodities transported and the nature of services performed. The categories are:

(1) Carriers of general commodities;

(2) Carriers of household goods;

(3) Carriers of commodities in dump trucks; and

(4) Carriers of specific commodities.
