79 - Allowable occupant load increases

Section 14.8.1.3.1 is amended to read as follows: 14.8.1.3.1 The occupant load in any building or portion thereof shall be allowed to be increased from the occupant load established for the given use in accordance with the building code where all other requirements of this Code are also met, based on such increased occupant load. Occupant load increases shall be approved by the AHJ. The fire department shall be notified of any increase in occupant load.
