Section 19-103-15 - Sale or lease signs

(a) A sale or lease sign which also advertises any product or service not being sold or rendered upon the premises and unrelated to the selling or leasing of the land on which the sign is located shall be prohibited outdoor advertising and not an on-premise sign.

(b) An example is a billboard which states: "This Property for Sale--Apply at Smith's Hotel; 500 Rooms, Air Conditioned, Swimming Pool, T.V.--Turn Right 3 Blocks at Main Street." In this instance, only the message "This Property for Sale" with the name, or agency responsible for the sale is permissible.
