Section 18-234-09 - Review of claims; appeal to circuit court

A claimant may appeal the commission's determination on a claim or amended claim to the circuit court of the county for which the commission is appointed. The appeal shall be filed not later than thirty days from the date of receipt of the certification of losses. Upon appeal, the claimant is entitled to a trial by jury; provided that a demand for jury trial shall be made in writing not more than ten days from the date the notice of appeal is filed or the demand for jury trial shall be deemed to be waived.
