Section 17-2036-41 - Contract of sale; requirements

(a) Upon finding a dwelling unit that the applicant is willing to purchase, the applicant shall provide a copy of the contract of sale to the authority.
(b) The contract of sale shall contain the following information:
(1) Specify the price
and other terms of sale by the seller to the applicant;
(2) Provide that the applicant shall arrange
for a pre-purchase inspection of the dwelling unit by an independent inspector
selected by the applicant;
(3)
Provide that the applicant is not obligated to purchase the unit;
(4) Provide that the applicant is not
obligated to pay for any necessary repairs; and
(5) Certify that the seller has not been
debarred, suspended, or subject to a limited denial of participation under 24
C.F.R. Part 24.
