Section 17-680-8 - Gross income limit

An assistance unit shall be ineligible for financial assistance when the assistance unit's total gross income exceeds one hundred eighty-five per cent of the family's standard of need. When the department determines that:

(1) An applicant's gross income will be in excess of the one hundred eighty-five per cent limit, the applicant shall be ineligible for that payment month; and

(2) The recipient's gross income expected in a current or future payment month will be in excess of the one hundred eighty-five per cent limit or the recipient's gross income received in a current or prior payment month exceeds the one hundred eighty-five per cent limit, the recipient shall be ineligible for that payment month.
