Section 17-663-29 - Treatment program liability

(a) The drug addiction or alcohol treatment and rehabilitation program shall be responsible for any misrepresentation or intentional program violation which it knowingly commits in the certification of program residents. The treatment program shall be knowledgeable about households' circumstances and shall carefully review those circumstances with residents prior to applying on their behalf.

(b) The treatment program shall be strictly-liable for all losses or misuse of food stamp benefits used on behalf of resident households and for all overissuances which occur while the households are residents of the treatment program.
