As used in this chapter: "Administrative hearing" means an administrative proceeding which affords an aggrieved person an opportunity to present an appeal before the department's hearing officer.

"Assistance unit" means persons whose needs, income, and assets are considered in determining eligibility for financial assistance and the amount of financial assistance.

"Caretaker relative" means a relative who provides care and supervision to children.

"Categorical relatedness" means requirements which an individual shall meet in order to be eligible for assistance for a specific program.
